Dawn Pomraning is a degreed Horticulturist and a retired Air Force veteran of 20 years. She has been in the "people business" for over 25 years and  is dedicated to serving her client's needs with  satisfaction.

Volunteering

Volunteering and donating one's talents is essential to supporting a thriving and diversified community.  Dawn provides horticultural workshops  at the Bullington Center in Hendersonville and the NC Arboretum, donates consultation/landscape design plans/plants to Habitat for Humanity in Asheville, landscapes and maintains St Barnabas Catholic church as a volunteer, shares experience/knowledge with talks/discussions at Haywood Community College for the horticulture students, talks on URTV/Channel 20 about horticultural issues  and also does volunteer employment at Callaway Gardens..

I blog on www.gardenasheville.com and post  numerous horticultural articles under the name of GardenThymeGirl.  www.gardenasheville.com is a great resource for advice and information on gardening.
